This fabric has a very tight weave and despite the lower strength of 210D it is still very robust. It is tear and abrasion resistant, watertight to 1500 mm yet still lightweight. 100D PA High Tenacity. This is the lightweight version of our polyamide 330D/250D textile. Thanks to the thinner yarn it has been possible to reduce the weight enormously. The tight web structure makes the fabric highly resistant and tearproof. D stands for Denier. - a unit of measurement for yarn weight. 600D means that 9,000 meters of yarn weigh 600 grams. The higher the value, the more robust (and often heavier) the material. PES stands for Polyester. Polyester fibers are highly tear- and abrasion-resistant, easy to care for, and absorb very little moisture. PA stands for Polyamide (also known as nylon). Polyamide fibers are especially durable, elastic, and lightweight. - ideal for textiles subject to high stress. REC stands for Recycled. - the material is made entirely or partially from recycled resources. BS stands for bluesign®-certified. - the material has been produced in an environmentally friendly and sustainable way according to the bluesign® standard.
