A cosy gilet with a water-repellent finish by HUGO Menswear. Cut to a slim fit in soft material and filled with lightweight wadding, this gilet is detailed with a logo patch in red silicone for signature edge. By using recycled polyamide, we aim to save resources by making use of existing plastic material. Recycled nylon is usually made from pre-consumer spinning or fabric waste and may also come from post-consumer industrial fishing nets. We only use raw materials with a verified chain of custody to ensure the use of certified recycled polyamide. This garment is made partly with certified recycled polyester. Recycled polyester is an artificial fibre made from oil-based waste such as old PET bottles. It is a more sustainable option compared to conventional polyester, as we can reuse a material that has already been produced. Using recycled polyester also reduces plastic waste and stops it from ending up in landfills.
