This model is the most robust of the Tenere range: made of responsible leather, it is equipped with a waterproof GORE-TEX membrane, a flexible, light and breathable upper and two-tone speckled laces for a mountain shoe effect. Water-repellent: - These shoes have a water-resistant and water-repellent treatment so that the water drips right off: it´ll help you stay dry if you´re out in moderate rain, light rain or drizzle. At Aigle, each material is tested to check its water-repellency level. The score goes from 1 (not good enough) to 5 (perfect) and we don´t accept anything below 4, except for environmentally safe treatments, in which case a 3 is okay. So there you have it. Cushioned: - We designed these shoes with a highly flexible and lightweight midsole. When you wear them, you´ll enjoy supreme comfort with a pleasant spring and good shock absorption. Care: - Clean the inside and outside part of each shoe using a moist lint-free cloth. - Never leave damp shoes to dry near a source of heat, and do not expose to direct sunlight. - Caring for velvety leather (split leather, nubuck): Dust the surface using a soft brush, then apply a waterproofing agent (never use shoe polish). - Caring for smooth leather: wipe the surface using a soft moist cloth, then apply a small quantity of colourless shoe polish to create a protective film around the shoe. - Use a colourless shoe sponge to clean and polish your shoes and boots.
