45P - Jackets. The 45P is the hooded version of the CWU 45, the jacket Tom Cruise wore in Top Gun. Designed for very low temperatures, the 45P is made from Alph´s special flight nylon. It offers maximum comfort while retaining wind and water protection so you´ll stay as dry as the state of Mississippi. Like the CWU 45, the 45P also boasts a two-layer polyester quilted lining. Two large chest pockets allow plenty of room for storage. A removable VELCRO patch lets you customize the jacket at your heart´s content. Replacing it with a Top Gun patch does not make you a world-class actor / bomber pilot, however. The main difference between CWU and 45P is the spacious hood. It´s Mouton-lined for maximum comfort and trimmed with faux fur. The fur´s removable, if you´re not into the whole fur thing. We recommend the 45P for all those who look for authentic but comfortable and stylish military wear, to anyone who gets easily cold, and of course, to all the mavericks and Tom Cruise fans out there.
